"it seems as if in the prosses of growing up we loose the ability to wonder about the world"

in chapter 2 knox says "its seems like in the prosses of growing up we loose our ability to wonder about the world". in my opinion i dissagreee with this veiw, instead i think we choose not to and because we as humans are so easy to adapt i think we accept the fact that there are some questions about the world that we will never know the answers to.

younger children will wonder about the world more because they are so young and much newer to the world. a childs mind is like a sponge, thats why they learn so quickly and are so curious to explor new things. but as we grow older we realise that most questions will never be answered so we dont wonder anymore.

in conclution i think that adults dont loose there abilty to wonder, i think they simply just choose not to as we know that most of the questions cannot be answered so therefore we simply give up.

From your blog, you state that most questions cannot be answered so we simply give up. How would you then explain science and the enormous amount of money thats put into it to find "answers" as in cures to diseases. Doctors and scientists don't know for certain that they'll find answers yet they put their faith into it and try to look for answers. I don't believe adults have simply given up. They are wondering but the only thing is that they haven't found an answer to their question yet.
