Everyone is born with a set of tinted glasses. Whatever the shade is, those glasses will reflect our experiences, our culture and the way in which we are brought up. Therefore we will only try to percieve the world in one way, in this case, it would be through the red glasses. What is most important in determining how we view the world is our experiences. These experiences, whether it is something positive or negative, help to build up on how we view the world. These red tinted glasses help us filter all the things we dont want to see, leaving us with only what we WISH to see.
I think we are all able to relate this to our everyday lives. For example, meeting a new person or having stereotypes against certain groups. It is as the saying goes; "Don't judge a book by its cover." In the same way, we should not judge a person by the way they look or the way they dress. If we just take the glasses off, then we are able to get to know them and thus not judge them by their looks.I personally believe that every single person in this world is born with a set of red tinted glasses. It is just up to choose whether we wish to take it off and view the world from a different perspective.

I think what you said about our culture(s) shading whatever we see and judge things is very true - how can we make this shade lighter so we can accept other practises? or take them off?
I agree with you when you say that everyone is born with a set of their own glasses and that they filter all the things we don't want to see, leaving us with only what we wish to see. However, is there a way for us to find someone, or take them off ourselves, so that we can see the "real" world? Are we, as humans, just too lazy to do so and just going to live our lives pretending we know everything, when in fact, we know we don't?
I definitely agree with your idea of us being born with a set of glasses whatever shade they are which basically guides what we perceive. However, i do no think that means we "only try" to perceive it.
I agree with your point that everyone is born with a set of glasses, it’s just a matter of fact if they choose to take it off or not. If they leave it on, then they will only have one perspective of the world and will not view the world from a different perspective. So if people take them off, then they will have different views of the world or other people and maybe change their opinions of this world.
I agree with you ,i think your points are well developed and explained.
i agree with the idea that the most important in determining how we view the world is our experience. If people choose to wear the glasses then they will not view other peoples opinions on what they think. However if they choose to take them off, they will learn how other peoples views are different to the individuals and would likely learn and make judgements.
i like how you mention we are all born with a set of tinted glasses. i agree that therefore we will have to percieve the world in one way but of course the way we can define it is through our experiences.
I like how you think the metaphor shows how we limit how we see in our lives and how everything naturally became red through sophie's eyes. Again, alot of people have picked up that we are born with the glasses and i lke how u said that it reflects experiences and culture and the way we are brought up because it sort of seems like the glasses are what distinguishes each and every one of us as we are all born with out individual set of glasses.
