The metaphor of the red-tinted glasses in Chapter 25 means that when we put on these glasses, it will limit our perspective of the world. Red is only one perspective of the world, there are others such as blue and green. Each of these colours show one specific view of the world, just like each person has their own view of the world. Some people might think that this world is loving and peaceful, but then others might think that this world is a waste of time and wish they were never born.
No one was born with these red-tinted glasses, because if they were, then they will only have ONE perspective of the world and will never see how other people think. They will only stick to one view and live with it. They cannot listen to what other people say and won't be able to admire the beauty of this planet as they can only see red. This means that everyone was born without these glasses, so that they can see how other people think, no matter if these comments are positive or negative, they will be able to see different opinions and make their own about this world.
After people are born and they don't like what they see, they might put it on to avoid looking at the world because they don't like what they see or they want to avoid the disasters that occur around the world so that they think they are safe. But when they take them off, they will realise how peaceful and harmless the world is currently and they can do something to change the future when global warming does more damage to this wonderful planet.

Is no one really born without 'red-tinted glasses'? I think all of us are. Each of us ARE born with only "one perspective of the world" and the notion of embracing that of others is merely the EXPANSION of one's perspective.
The type of people you describe, who do not (because they refuse to?) appreciate the world and its diversity do exist, moreover. Especially those who are uneducated such as the impoverished and of course, young children which all function egocentrically.
I agree that every single one of us are born with innate glasses. It is only those who choose to take off the glasses that can understand reality and the world better, from different perspectives.
In my opinion, people are actually born with their own set of tinted glasses. We are all born, educated, raised to think a way, to perceive things a certain way. However, it is up to us to see past it to realise that theres two sides to every story and that we may not always be right.
I do agree how we are not born with red tinted glasses and that we choose whether we would like to put them on or not. We tend to be affected by the things we learn and what we are influenced in doing etc.
I agree with you how people who were born without the glasses would see how other people think of even though the comments are negative to what the individuals think of. They would be able to see things different form what they made jugdement of the world and realise what world really is and the things they can make changes of.
i agree with how you say we are not actually born with the red tinted glasses and it is our decision wether we choose to put them on or not, because if we choose to then we'll never actually get to see both sides of everything.
I agree with your point that people have the ability to take off their glasses. We all know the other perspectives which people have, but this is where we are different. Some choose to wear back their glasses despite having known the other perspectives existing elsewhere and others choose to keep them off, always accepting the views of other people. However in the end, we all have a different view point as what we accept and what we truly believe in, are two very separate things.
I agree with the fact that you said no one is born with the glasses, but it is as you grow, you start to develop the glasses. As we grow we also start to think about other peoples percpective of the world.
I agree on how you said that we are not born with a pair of tinted glasses and those who choose to take off the glasses can only realise how the world actually is.
