The red-tinted glasses that has been mentioned in Chapter 25 is a metaphor for limitation of our perspective in each human being. Sophie was being asked what she saw with the Red-tinted glasses that she was given and obviously everything turned out red from her view. That was definitely not the reality of the world but surely it was what she saw because the red tinted glasses gave her illusion about this world, made the world she saw differently.
If every single person has their own pair of tinted glasses ever since they were born then they wouldn’t have the chance to see the reality or to see other views that people see. Luckily, we are not born with these tinted glasses which give us the chance to look at the actuality of this world.
Some people rather live in this world without any tinted glasses because it lets them see the world much more clearly. But perhaps not a lot of people, but surely few people might rather live in these tinted glasses after they see the “reality” of the world. These tinted glasses, which filtered all the bad things they see and only left with the goods. But I personally think it’s not a bad idea to live in these tinted glasses because I am that kind of person who prefers to hide or escape from problems when they arrive. And by wearing these tinted glasses can stop me from knowing these problems because all I see is the good side of the world.

I agree with your definition of the red tinted glasses being our limitations because that was what I thought as well. However, i don't agree that they would block out the bad so we could only see the good (in the 3rd paragraph).
It is true that the red tinted glasses limit the way in which we view the world. However, would you really want to just view the world through YOUR own pair? Would you not want to try viewing this world from a different perspective, just to see how it differs from yours?
I personally would want to take off those tinted glasses of mine and view the world from a different point of view.
I agree to how you explained the metaphor of the red tinted glasses, with it being out limitations. However, I don't agree with what you said about it filtering the 'bad' things in life. That is because even though people wear their own 'red tinted glasses' they see good and bads just in their own perspective.
What you said is true about when we don't have chances to see the reality if we were born with these glasses, it would all be an illusion giving the question- "Is everything we know all fake, are we actually living?". The glasses are like the environment, which affects what we think.
